GENERAL INFORMATION ON ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY

TEACHING MOBILITY FOR ACADEMIC STAFF

This program constitutes the field of activity allowing academic staff already teaching at a higher education institution holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) in Turkey to teach students at another higher education institution holding an ECHE in one of the program countries (European Union countries). In order for staff teaching mobility to be considered valid, it is obligatory for staff members to be active for at least 8 hours. Staff members wishing to participate in the mobility are required to submit their Letter of Invitation/ Acceptance from the institution where they are to teach, to the Directorate of Erasmus within the application period and at the application stage; while also uploading the relevant letter to the system while applying via the Portal.

LEARNING MOBILITY FOR STAFF

Staff learning mobility constitutes a field of activity that enables any staff employed at an ECHE-holding higher education institution in Turkey to receive training in one of the program countries. Within the scope of this activity, it is possible for attendees to receive training in various areas (such as hands-on training, or training on observation processes) in order to improve the skills they have in relating to their current position.
Within the scope of staff training mobility, it is also possible for the staff members employed at an ECHE-holding higher education institution to visit an ECHE-holding higher education institution or a related institution to receive training. Accepting organizations may be businesses, education centers, research centers, chambers of commerce and associations, schools, foundations, non-profit organizations, career guidance institutions, professional counseling and guidance institutions, higher education institutions and other organizations specified in the Erasmus+ Program Guide. In this regard, an eligible organization means any private or public institution/ organization and any enterprise engaged in any economic activity, including social economy, regardless of their size, legal status and the economic sector in which they operate. Staff training is a full-time activity and grants are paid for the duration of full-time training sessions. For this reason, the training program must be specified on a daily basis in the Staff Mobility for Training - Mobility Agreement. Staff members wishing to participate in the mobility are required to submit their Letter of Invitation from the institution where they are to receive training, to the Directorate of Erasmus within the application period and at the application stage; while also uploading the relevant letter to the system while applying via the Portal.
