PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES

ON THE REGISTRATION, THE ADMISSION, AND TUITION FEES OF

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OF ATILIM UNIVERSITY

 

 

ARTICLE 1 - The purpose of this regulation is to determine the principles and procedures regarding the application fees and tuition fees to be provided by students registering to the University as international students as per Atılım University Regulations on the Principles and Procedures for the Admission of International Students, effective from the Fall Semester of the Academic Year of 2023-2024.

 

ARTICLE 2 - These Principles and Procedures shall apply for students registering to the University as international students in line with Atılım University Regulations on the Principles and Procedures for the Admission of International Students as of the Fall Semester of the Academic Year of 2023-2024.

 

ARTICLE 3 - Deposit Fees

International students are required to pay their deposit fees to the bank account of the University in order to be able to receive their official letter of acceptance once their application is accepted.

The deposit fees are determined by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. The deposit fees may be subject to change in line with the conditions of a particular academic year.

For the Academic Year of 2023-2024, the deposit fee for all Associate, Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctorate Degree Programs is 1250 USD, excluding the School of Medicine. For the School of Medicine, the deposit fee is 3000 USD.

The deposit fees are refundable and subject to a deduction of 250 USD only in the cases where the candidate student is able to document that they have failed to apply for a visa due to their failure to meet the visa application conditions, that their visa application has officially been declined, that the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye is unable to document the equivalence of their high school education; or, as for graduate program applicants, the case where they fail to finalize their registration due to the Higher Education Council of the Republic of Türkiye not recognizing their previous university of graduation.  Deposit fees shall not be refunded outside of the aforementioned cases. Deposit fees are deducted from the tuition fee payment to be provided by students as they finalize their registration transactions.

ARTICLE 4 - Tuition Fees

In the case where international students pay their tuition fees, but refuse to register for any reason, the tuition fees provided by them shall not be refunded.

In the case international students refrain from attending the University for any reason, or have their registration annulled as per their own request, the tuition fees provided by them shall not be refunded.

ARTICLE 5 - These Principles and Procedures shall enter into effect upon the resolution of the Board of Trustees, and shall apply for students registering to the University as of the Fall Semester of the Academic Year of 2023-2024.

ARTICLE 6 - These Principles and Procedures are executed by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Atılım University.
