Atılım University promotes internationalization both in education and in campus life with a multicultural environment and participative approach. It offers exchange, internship and international mobility programs in EU countries and other parts of the world. International students are from 70 different countries all over the world including Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Balkans, the Gulf Region and the Caucasus. The University employs internationally experienced and renowned staff. In most of the academic programs, the medium of instruction is English.

The certificates given in the light of the evaluations about the academic competencies of the university programs provide objective information to local and international candidates about many aspects from academic and administrative staff to facilities.

The accreditations granted to higher education programs by international accreditation institutions provide important advantages to students and graduates who intend to pursue an academic or research career in abroad as their diplomas are recognized all around the world.

It is required to gain ground to reach desired levels in terms of accreditation which has been seriously taken into account in Turkey in the recent years. Approximately 400 of the 29.000 programs are accredited and this shows how long the path is.

At Atılım University, 8 of 13 engineering departments are accredited by MÜDEK, 3 Arts & Sciences departments by FEDEK, 1 department in the School of Fine Arts Design & Architecture 1 department in the School of Busines by TURAK and İLAD, and 2 departments of the School of Foreign Languages by PEARSON.
