Important Notice for Prospective Students

Dear Prospective Students,

 

Registrations are closed for associate, undergraduate and graduate programs for the Fall Semester of the Academic Year of 2024-2025. Thank you for your interest. 

 

Applications started for graduate programs for the Spring Semester of the Academic Year of 2024-2025! 

 

Application Process:

  • Applications are free. 
  • Applications are received through the online application system. Online application sysyem link:  https://applyatilim.force.com/ 
  • We send your documents to the related department for evaluation. Evaluation may take 2 weeks.
  • After the evaluation report comes to the International Student Resources Department, committee decision will be required for the final result. The committee, which gathers weekly, approves or rejects candidates’ admission. After the committee gathers, all candidates are informed about the results.
  • The committee decision is conditional, it is valid only if the candidate pays deposit for acceptance letter. In case of deposit payment (just visa refusal) ; 250 Dollars will be considered as a processing fee and will not be refunded. Conditional acceptance letter is valid for 10 days. Deposit payment will be deducted from total payment.
  • Deposit payment will be charged as a tuition fee per semester for undergraduate programs

If you want to apply for scholarship, please indicate your intention in your application email and attach relevant documents for the evaluation. (SAT score, GMAT score, YÖS score, reference letter etc.)

Documents Required During Registration:

You must provide original copies of the documents stated in the required documents section. For recognition of your diplomas, you also should get recognition document from YÖK for graduate programs and you should get equivalency document from Turkish Embassy Education Attache or Ministry of National Education in Turkey for Bachelor pograms before registration. Rules for APEX (Atılım University Proficiency Exam) Foreign Examinees

1. Please review the sample optical mark reader answer form which will be used in the exam and fill in the form on the exam day accordingly.

2. Please bring along your pencils, erasers and pencil sharpeners on the exam day.

3. You should use a pencil for accurate scanning of answers. Make sure that the pencil is dark and fills the circle so that it can be read by the scanner. You can’t use a pen to fill in the form or to shade the correct letter. (A-D).

4. If your name and surname are too long, just write your surname on the form and shade the necessary letter from A to Z.

5. If you have your Atılım University Student ID Card, please bring it on the exam day. If you don’t, you should have any other ID or passport with a photo on it with you.

6. If you have your Atılım University Student ID Card, you should write the student ID on the optical answer form, as well but if you don’t, you can leave these boxes empty.

7. Before the exam, make sure that you place your mobile phone, which is off, on the teacher’s desk in the exam room.

8. Cheating is not allowed. If you are suspected of cheating, necessary action will be taken and your exam will be cancelled.


Term Assignment Calculation:

The rules regarding term assignment in undergraduate programs are as follows: Students exempt from 20 ECTS are assigned to 2nd semester, 50 ECTS to 3rd semester and 80 ECTS to 4th semester. Students are assigned to a higher semester at each 30 ECTS.
